Carla da Cruz is a Portuguese jewellery designer, and though her education is in Design Communication, she discovers jewellery in 2007 and starts her practical training in a goldsmith studio-workshop, in which between 2007 and 2010 learns the basic techniques of jewellery, and immediately begins to run her own pieces.
After this period, she attends over one year in the same professional studio, where she develops a close contact with this trade reality. She continues as self-taught and all her artwork is handmade with precious metals and stones. She’s inspired by organic and inorganic elements that surround her which she transfers to each piece carving the raw material. She’s now starting to expand her brand by selling her work online and in stores.
