I began to get involved in jewelry design when I was studying product design, during the development of the cutlery Doppelripp. I started to play with textile structures to be used as the handles for my cutlery. Since our world today seems flat and smooth, computer generated, I wanted to set something to oppose this concept and to introduce a haptic quality.

Textures bear a sensitive quality, they change when wearing and I believe that is a very natural concept. In nature nothing stays the same. Many of my clients value this concept when they buy my jewelry for their anniversary or wedding. Each time it’s a compliment to me, because love is the highest concept and I am always excited that a piece of my jewelry will be a link of their love. Read More »
Hi my name is Aurore François, and I am Mademoiselle Felee’s designer. I spent my childhood in a small village of the north of France, discovering nature and dreaming in the fields, drawing, knitting, creating clothes and furniture for my Barbie dolls, organizing catwalks and making movies with my cousins… I think it was the beginning of a love story with fashion…

But it was not so easy, because my family wanted a traditional job for me, so after two years in foreign languages, I joined the Studio Berçot fashion school in Paris. While in training, I exhibited my first creations at Palais de Tokyo : It was photo paper jewelry and it was really exciting. Then I experienced with Karine Arabian, attracted by her shoes designing talent, Guy Laroche and Corpus Christi design studios, in charge of accessories, jewelry, printed fabrics, and embroidery. I also worked as graphic designer and as photo stylist for fashion magazines… but what I really wanted to do since years was to launch my own brand. So my dream came true in 2011, Mademoiselle Felee was born and was recently granted by 2 Fashion Sheriffs Awards on Eclat de Mode – Paris trade shows. Read More »

Michelle Chang offers amazing jewelry pieces made of gold, sterling silver and diamonds. Michelle Chang was born in Korea and she moved to New York City when she was seven. Michelle Chang was at one time an aspiring fine artist, an interior designer, and an illustrator. Maybe that’s why her works are so attractive and interesting.

“To me, jewelry making is drawing, design, sculpture, and craft. All embodied in a tiny object that can be worn and which I hope will provide meaning and value to the wearer. I find inspiration in many things small and large, natural and man-made, living and inert. In short, pretty much anything and everything. Every piece of jewelry is made by hand and is therefore unique. My jewelry is made here in NYC, the city that I grew up in, the city that I had left for many years, and the city that I returned to, only to find that I’ve never truly left.” Michelle Chang.
